OLD 26" ENGLISH MERRYTHOUGHT MOHAIR BEAR
This is a
darling mohair bear probably of the Thirties and because of the
detailing, including the floss stitching style on the paw pads, and
other patterning we are fairly sure this is an old Merrythought. He
has some restoration on the paw pads over old holes and some of the
excelsior stuffing has settled but none of this is obvious nor does it
detract from this nice English teddy! He measures around 26 inches
total length, and is a Carmel coloring. He has his original big glass
eyes. He comes with a
darling outfit which is in blue and white and is a bit reminiscent of
a sailor theme. It appears to be made of wool and felt and very nicely
done! This fella
deserves a place in your collection. He is wonderful and full of
character!
