11.5" Alexander LISSY c1957 Chemise, Rare Dress

Sweet Lissy-face hard plastic #1100-1957 Basic Doll, a bending elbows & knees walker, is in clean mint condition in tagged all-original chemise & sandals. The jointed body with slightly arched feet has no seam splits or breaks. The shiny auburn saran wig is in original tight curly flip with bangs and make-up is perfect. Red pouty mouth and rosy cheeks make this Lissy very pretty, as do her huge blue sleep eyes with molded upper lashes, auburn brows and painted lower lashes. Her crispy taffeta chemise has “Lissy” tag and dainty ruffled lace at the hips, lace & a ribbon rose on the bodice, with somewhat-stretched white X-strap elastic sandals and replaced nylon stockings. The dress is crispy ribbed and polished cotton with hearts & flowers embroidered ribbon trimming the waist and deep hem, plus two red-sparkle Alexander pressed brass flower brads on the bodice. There is no tag but the quality construction and square snaps leave no question about this being a true Alexander Lissy dress. She looks un-touched and never undressed; from original-owner, non-smoking home!
