12” RARE Alexander 1965 LISSY-face BRIGITTA SAILOR MIB
Lovely Lissy-face 12" Brigitta from the Sound of Music is in pristine mint-in-box condition. Lissy has straight arms and legs with joints at neck, shoulders and hips; she has never been undressed or played-with, and only rarely displayed - under glass and out of sunlight. The shiny long brunette wig is in the original style tied up from the temples and falling into curls. Her pouty mouth, rosy cheeks, fine painted brows and lower lashes, huge blue sleep eyes and molded upper lashes enhance this demure portrait. The blue sailor outfit is tagged '"Brigitta" // From The Sound Of Music // ©Madame Alexander'. The outfit is two-piece with the box-pleated skirt attached to a pique bodice under the back-buttoning jacket. A white cotton petticoat and panties are both hemmed in dainty lace, and perfect Lissy white tights & velvet side-snap shoes complete the outfit. Box: in very good condition (age darkening), 10"x 12" with neck brace inside, has an oversized perfect label with a photo of the "large SOM set", movie information, and "Brigitta – 1213". Lissy-Brigitta in sailor outfit is the rarest of the Sound of Music dolls.
