An exquisite 21” antique girl in excellent-plus condition, her perfect bisque head is incised: “1078 // Germany // Simon & Halbig // S & H // 8”. She has large brown glass sleep eyes with original still-full floss upper lashes, and finely painted lower lashes, under multi-stroke molded brows. Rosy cheeks, a dimpled chin and open mouth with pearly teeth contribute to her gentle expression. Her newer brunette wig is mohair in long full curls with side-part and a creamy satin bow. The high-quality composition body has beautiful original nearly-perfect finish, jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and hips; only the slightest paint-wear on fingertips, left hand fingers re-touched. The newer tattersal dress has red-embroidered pinked edging, long sleeves, bertha collar and red satin sash. A dainty cotton petticoat and chemise-pantalets button-together antique underwear with matching lace hems, ankle-strap newer shoes with bows on toes, and cotton knit socks complete her costume; from non-smoking home.
