UFDC 2005 Convention Robert Tonner Regina Wentworth
The banquet souvenir from 2005 UFDC convention is a gorgeous Robert Tonner 16" fashion doll with a face mold unique to this doll, limited to production of 1800 sets and the mold to be destroyed. Never removed from her 18 x 21” presentation box, with shipper, just opened for photographs. This doll’s name is Regina Wentworth, matriarch of the fictional House of Wentworth fashion atelier. Regina has beautiful shiny pale blonde hair turned up in a double chignon; she has tiny pearl earrings and wears a white lace chemise, thigh-high nylons and black mules. Included in the presentation box are two complete outfits with marvelous accessories: a summer-weight brown linen c.1960 Balenciaga-esque oversized medium sleeve jacket lined in ice blue satin with one-piece linen skirt & satin sleeveless blouse underneath; matching clutch purse, long brown ‘leather’ gloves, brown mules, umbrella, ice blue chiffon scarf, black-framed glasses and gold bead earrings. Cocktail dress: fuchsia satin & chiffon sheath with accessories of large white feather hat, clutch purse, high-heel pink sandals, crystal bracelet & crystal flower earrings. This superb package is a great jump-start to 16” fashion doll collecting!
