7.25" Rare Size c1909 K star R Character #114 GRETCHEN
Kammer & Rhinehardt's #114 Gretchen is so dainty and precious in this rare petite 7.25" size! She is in near mint condition, head incised: "K (& in star) R // 114 // 13". There are no damages or repairs to head or body, beyond tiny paint rubs on fingers & toes. Her sweet pouty face has hand-painted features with blue eyes, dashed brows, big rosy cheeks and pouty mouth. Gretchen's blonde mohair wig has a side part with an ice-blue silk bow, and flows in curls around her shoulders. The fine composition body is jointed at neck, shoulders and hips, with dainty turned-out hands, molded brown two-strap shoes with heels and ribbed socks. Gretchen is wearing a crocheted dress and matching bonnet in slate blue trimmed in cream. Antique batiste and lace underwear completes the outfit.
