5"-1940 NASB PUDGY Family Series BRIDESMAID MIB
Bridesmaid #87 from the Nancy Ann Storybook Family series has a sweet round face and round pudgy tummy. She is marked: "Story Book Doll U.S.A. 11" and is mint in box with brochure. The Bridesmaid's watery blue eyes have finest painted lashes and her cheeks are bright & rosy around the tiny bow mouth. The golden blonde wig has a side part and thick waves to her shoulders. Jointed at shoulders and hips, her feet are painted as black slip-on shoes. This is the gorgeous ribbon-print organdy gown, in pale mint green with dainty lace trim, attached pink taffeta bodice and underskirt. Underneath are lace-hemmed batiste pantalets. A bouquet of velvet flowers, tied with pink NASB ribbon, is originally pinned to her waist, and her bonnet matches the gown with a fine net veil over top, and NASB ribbon headband. The cream box has pale pink dots and silver foil label: "Family Series // Bridesmaid // 87"; the brochure has a floral rectangle with NASB doll at the bottom. She's simply stunning and exceptional!!!
