3.75" Floral Wreath Lady DRESSEL & KISTER 1920 HALFDOLL
Incredibly beautiful with all of her flowers perfect, the rare Floral Wreath Lady is a china half-doll with no chips (restored right thumb-tip). Known for their characteristic finely brush-stroked hair and long tapering waists, Dressel & Kister half-dolls are expertly and artistically painted. The half-doll is marked inside the base with the cobalt blue elongated "C". The piece measures 3.75" tall, 4" wide and 2.25" front-to-back. Arms are fully away from her body with a perfect rose in her upraised right hand. Her hair is in a fancy Pompadour under the nine-flower wreath. Amber eyes have black & red lid lines under grey brows, and the details are sensitively painted. She's a gorgeous and dainty lady!!
