5.25" Cast Brass/Bronze GREEK BOY & HORSE c1920

With Classical Greek mythical and Art Deco details, this cast brass sculpture/paperweight is from circa 1920, and in mint condition with no cracks, no damages or repairs. We can see more of a brass look but the privious owner told us this piece was bronze. The piece measures 5.25" tall, 5.5" long and 2.25" wide. The boy has molded curly hair, simple molded cloth wrapping his hips, and original copper straps for the horse's reins. The stallion is beautifully modeled, rearing away from the boy & his reins, with full mane flying. Waving Deco greenery supports the horse's front leg from the base, which is molded as a rough road. No maker's marks, this is from an old Denver family. Clean from a non smoking home.
