Rare 13" SIMON & HALBIG 1890s Flirty 1039 Fully Jointed
Perfectly charming, and so adorable in this rare 13" size, Simon & Halbig's mold 1039 shows true character personality with her flirty eyes, original floss lashes and perfect bisque head. The head is incised: "S & H 1039 // Germany (very faint)", with red stamp: "Wimpern // Geretzl Geschutz". There are no damages or repairs; she has pierced ears with the original bead & wire earrings. Feathered brows, finely painted lower lashes, lightly blushed cheeks, a dimple in her chin, and open mouth with miniscule upper teeth enhance her original blue spiral glass flirty eyes. Her mohair wig is auburn-brown in long bouncy curls. Fully jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees; no damage to the composition body, torso nicely repainted. The darling pink linen mariner costume is made from antique fabrics. Sleeveless dress with box-pleated skirt, matching jacket & beret, all trimmed in pale gold braid and peach silk ribbon bows. Underneath are lace-hemmed petticoat & pantalets, cotton knit stockings & olive leather ankle-tie shoes complete this adorable cabinet-size offering. From non-smoking home.
