17.5" PAPIER MACHE c1950 SANTA CLAUS HEAD Wall Hanging
Life-size and jolly, this pressed
papier-mache dimensional Santa Claus face is in very good to excellent
condition, measuring 17.5" tall, 11.5" wide and 5.5" deep. The cheery
blue eyes are decals, and the rest of the features are airbrushed:
skin, brows, rosy cheeks and red mouth. Santa's hat is painted red and
the white hat and is sprinkled with clear glitter. He does show some
wear and tear from his years of service – bumped nose, cheek bumps and
beard rubs, but we've left it up to his new owner to decide to retouch
the paint if you wanted to, or leave Santa as is. The original hanging
bar is missing but there's a hole for a nail. Plus, a triangular
factory indent in the back, with a horizontal oval hole, seems to be
suitable for attaching Santa's head to a mannequin body or maybe a
decorative post. His eyes twinkle with glee!!!
