3"x 4" Ca.1840-1860 STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE Girl on Horse
Daintily riding sidesaddle, this young lady rides a white horse with grey mane. A true antique Staffordshire figurine, she is solid glazed porcelain with hand-painted details: green grass & bushes for the base, grey mane & tail on the horse, black hooves and harness, blue dots on the girl's skirt, purple bodice, dark yellow hair and red on her hat, shoe & saddle. There are some paint rubs to the red painted parts, but there are no damages or repairs. This is a very sweet size and charming tiny figure.
