Peaceful country scenes with farmers’ houses, cattle and sheep center this creamy heavy dishes of these seventeen pieces of lovely lavender-purple transfer-ware. The outer rims flaunt a garland of grape vines, leaves and wheat. Impressed underneath is “DAVENPORT (anchor-logo)” and under-glazed “BRITISH SCENERY // Davenport”. Pieces and conditions listed below: 9 – Dinner Plates = 10 ½” {one plate has a 3” hairline underneath center, another plate has a tiny glaze-flake center-top} 5 – Cream Soup Bowls = 9 ¼” across x 1 ¾” deep {one bowl has ¼” under-rim chip} 1 – Gravy Boat = 8" handle to spout length, 5 ¾” high top of handle, 3 ½” across {3/8” chip off base - doesn’t show when handle is to the left; 1” and 2” hairlines beside handle} 1 – Small Oval Serving Platter = 11 ½” long x 8 ¼” wide and 1 ¾” deep 1 – Large Oval Serving Platter = 18” long x 14” wide and 2” deep - also impressed “16” Dishes are very heavy so shipping will need to be @$100 depending on location; from non-smoking home.
