8"/20cm-1950s STEIFF GYMNASTIKBALL Colorful Mohair Ball
Steiff made this soccer ball with
six colors of soft mohair plush – the same mohair used for their bears
and animals. This "Gymnastikball" is #320 made from 1950-58. The 8" or
20cm size refers to the side-to-side measurement, it is 23.5" or 60cm
around. It is in clean excellent to mint condition, with no bald
spots. We've had this sitting with a very large Steiff Original Teddy
and it looks fabulous and ready for play. The mohair hexagons
permanently cover a rubber ball so it is firm yet still squishy and bounces . Very clean from a non smoking
home. This sweet bear is not included in the auction.
