33" Antique Elaborate Lace CA.1900 BASSINETTE for Doll
Puffy silk satin bows with yards of Point D'esprit over organdy, this Victorian Bassinette is in excellent usable condition. The foundation is wicker and there are carrying handles on the sides, a feather-filled canvas mattress, and the hood can be raised. The basket measures 33" long, 19" wide, 10" tall with the hood down and 20" tall with the hood up. The fabrics are intact and not tattered, mattress is clean (meant to have a sheet coverlet), and the wicker is solid and sturdy (the ends of the hood hoops could use recovering, but the hood does stay up when tethered to the front edge). Someone's baby or antique doll was truly pampered in this frothy confection, which can still be quite useful for baby, a large antique doll, or a super-spoiled pooch!! Very clean from a non smoking home.
