16” 1951 PATENT PENDING Hard Plastic TERRI LEE Cowgirl
Fans of cute – here’s Terri Lee, in excellent condition, wearing “Cowgirl” #3580A from 1952. The Nebraska factory early hard plastic body is marked on back: “Terri Lee // Pat. Pending.” There is no damage, no repairs or split seams. Perfect hand-painted features: big brown eyes, arched long single-stroke brows, upper & lower liner, fine upper & lower side lashes, subtly rosy cheeks and sweet pursed mouth. Terri Lee has a crisp "Raysheen" rare carrot-red wig in the original curled flip with braids at the front sides. There’s no horse in sight, but Terri Lee can pretend in this white leather skirt and tagged vest with colorful enameled brass studs; both the vest & skirt are fringed. The skirt has a .75" split below the back opening. The tagged bona fide cowgirl blouse is pale yellow satin (faded from bright yellow and needs cuff buttons). Her fabulous variegated felt cowgirl hat retains the original floss twist chinstrap with cinching bead. Terri Lee's owner made cowgirl boots from tan & green felt with red felt-lined stars on sides – a near match to Terri Lee's real boots. Giddy up & Happy Trails!
