8.5" All-Bisque HEUBACH COQUETTE #10499 Original Outfit
A rare size Heubach "Coquette" in all-bisque, this little darling is 8.5" of perfection with no cracks, no damages and no repairs; her hiney is incised "10499". Head and body are molded as one with arms jointed at shoulders and legs jointed at hips, so she can sit and pose. Her hand-painted face has impish right-glancing amber intaglio eyes, dashed brown brows, rosy cheeks and smiling open/closed mouth; light-brown brush-stroked hair has a glazed dark-orange band above her molded curls. Hands have spread fingers with two middle fingers together, and her feet have molded ribbed socks and amber one-strap shoes, which are large and flat enough for her to stand alone. The original outfit is a deep-red cotton crepe dress with black polka-dots, black satin ribbon sash and black crochet edging. Underneath is a petticoat and matching once piece chemisette edged with dainty lace. She's such a sweet handful!!!
