4.5” Vintage Christmas SNOW CHILD on CANDY BOX Japan
This vintage decoration is in
excellent all-original condition. Adorable and very cute, this 3"
comic child wears a snowsuit of cotton batting and carries a pole and
a red-bordered "Merry Christmas" sign. The little guy has a
hand-painted papier-mache mask face, brown side-glancing eyes and
watermelon smile. Cotton wool forms the tan boots and mittens. Shows
slight age darkening, which just adds to the charm of vintage
decorations! The 2.5" hexagonal cardboard candy box is 1.5" tall,
painted white and dusted with glitter for the effect of snow & ice.
Stamped "Japan" on the bottom. So charming!!!
