18" Gorgeous RARE "Fire" C STEINER Marked Steiner Body
No damage and No repair. Truly rare and exceptional, the Steiner "Fire" C has a square little face with broad nose, feathered eyebrows and widely spaced hand-painted lashes. Her head is incised: "STEINER // Paris // Fre. C-11". Rosy blushed cheeks and subtly smiling mouth enhance the deep pools of her steel-blue paperweight eyes. Human hair wig in pale-blonde has long curls & brass barrettes. The original composition body is stamped "Le Petite Parisien // Bebe Steiner". She is jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, with the original paint and finish, no repairs or damage. Bebe Steiner wears an elegant dress of antique ivory silk ribbon-trimmed silk net, fully lined with batiste. A three-pointed antique gold pin decorates the bodice. Gorgeous peacock-blue silk satin ribbons sash her waist and decorate her fine straw bonnet. The antique underclothes include: lace-trimmed cotton slip, eyelet-hemmed pantalets, cotton knit stockings, and fabulous sea-blue kid lace-up boots with original metal-tipped perle-twist laces (one boot impressed "8 // C.M." in an oval, the other has replaced sole). So precious and rare, Fre C Steiner is the best!!
