Vintage Christmas Cotton Batting 6" CHILD on SLED Japan
Here's a beguiling older child
all dressed in cotton batting and sitting on a sled. He, or she,
measures 4.75" tall by 2.75" wide, on a 6" long sled. The child is in
excellent all-original condition with a vermilion silky chenille scarf
flying behind and orange chenille 'mittens'. The papier-mache mask
face is hand-painted with a big toothy smile and blue eyes. Snowsuit
shows only slight darkening from age, which just adds to the charm and
authenticity! The sled is folded cardboard painted white and dusted
with glitter for the effect of snow & ice. Black cotton wool forms the
boots. Stamped "Japan" on the bottom.!
