8" RARE 1961 Alexander BKW LUCY AMERICANA #488
"Lucy Americana" bent-knee walker is from a rare four-doll series made only in 1961. She is in excellent condition and has never been played-with or undressed. Tagged "Alexander-Kins”, she has fluttery blue sleep eyes, molded upper lashes, hand painted brows and lower lashes, rosy cheeks and dainty bow mouth enhancing her bisque-like finish. Her brunette wig is in the original curly bob-style with straight centered bangs and a curly topknot. Lucy's red & white striped polished cotton dress has a below-the-knee skirt. The half-sleeves and organdy bodice are edged in dainty lace, and two tiny buttons grace the bodice. The fine white straw bonnet has red velvet blossoms at the front and red satin ribbon around the crown; elastic chinstrap is just a little bit loose. Lace-trimmed fine cotton pantalets and matching petticoat, black suede-cloth side-snap shoes and white cotton knit stockings complete the outfit. This is such a sweet little girl!! Please see our web page for her two sisters! Very clean from a non smoking home.
