8 Alexander SLW BRIDEGROOM #466-1955 RED Caracul Wig
This handsome little straight-leg walker groom is dressed to the nines for his bride. He is all-original, never played with and in near-mint condition. A beautiful carroty-red 'caracul' wig curves over his hand-painted brows & lower lashes, fluttery blue sleep eyes with molded lashes, rosy cheeks and pursed coral mouth. The black suedecloth jacket with tails should be tagged inside but we didn't undress him - snaps in front to the tan cummerbund, over a cream suedecloth shirt and crisply pleated charcoal grey pinstriped pants (fuzz worn on tailcoat sleeves only). A satin ascot is punctuated with a rhinestone 'tiepin' and a tiny velvet flower decorating his lapel. Black suedecloth slip-on shoes and black rayon knit socks complete the outfit.
