11” Gebruder Heubach c1912 CHARACTER LAUGHING BOY #7604
What a cheerful little guy this is! His perfect character head with no damage and no repair. He has a solid dome with molded pale brown hair, dark blue intaglio eyes and laughing open/closed mouth with two tiny molded bottom teeth. Single-stroke brows and rosy plump cheeks enhance his jolly expression. Fully marked on back of head: “2/0 // (sun mark) // 7604 // Germany” plus an upside-down "26" and stamped green "14". The composition and wood body is jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, and he has no damage, no repairs. He's certainly sweet in his antique outfit of striped overalls and crisp white shirt. In this tiny size he’ll fit in the hand of a big doll or stand next to some larger character siblings!!
