Gebruder Heubach "A Dark Secret" BLACK CHILDREN FIGURINE
A darling little girl and her serious brother are molded in bisque with a garden wall-look base lettered "A Dark Secret." Circa 1910, the figurine is in mint condition with no chips, no damages or repairs. Heubach sun mark, and "Copyrighted" incised in circles on back, plus impressed "3843", measuring 6.25" tall, 3.5" wide and 2.5" deep. Their faces and little feet are particularly well done and all details are hand-painted - skillfully shaded brown skin, rosy cheeks, pink dress, pale blue shirt and tan shorts. Simply wonderful!!
